Easter At Dad & Mom's
Easter Hunt at Gruver Park
The Easter Egg hunt in Gruver is provided every year by the sorority. It alot of work to stuff soooo many eggs, but they always do it come rain, wind or shine!! This year was windy and cold. The hunt didn't last long, but all the kids had a great time!!! Here is Papa and the kids ready for some EGGS!!

Mom, KD, and myself.......freezing, but having fun!!

Maddie was visiting and missed her age group start!!! She ran over and all the eggs were gone. She wasn't sad.......and KD and Michael shared their candy with her......very proud moment for me!!

Three Year Olds!!!! Oh My!!!
We told the kids to take a shower. Michael wanted to take a bath. We said no, they all needed to take a shower! So all they kids headed to the shower. After a while we heard laughing........when we went to see what was so funny........................................
PSU Rodeo
Last weekend we went to Guymon for the PSU rodeo. It was a true Panhandle weather day with wind gusts of 60-70mph. We were all covered in dirt but the sun was out and we made the most of it!!!! Here are a few pictures of the Sat. afternoon performance. The evening performance was freezing and all we saw was the bareback riders, then we headed to the trailer where the kids all feel asleep!!!

Here Marty is picking-up!! It's so much fun to watch him! He is so good at it, and you can tell he really enjoys it!

Marty is in the front on this bottom picture.(I think this might have been Friday night.)

Sledding
We all survived the blizzard!! It was a long day of being locked up on Friday. We were all lazy and did absolutely nothing.........because there was nothing to do. It was fun just hanging out telling stories, and snuggling to stay warm!! Then Saturday rolled around, and the work began. Everyone was out and about putting cattle in and assessing the damaged. We actually faired very well :) The kids played in the snow all morning waiting for Marty to take them sledding! By the time he arrived most of the snow had melted. I love this first picture.........just shows how much they enjoyed sledding!!
You can tell how fast the snow was melting in this photo. I'd like you all to notice the creek running in the photo..............okay, it's not a creek really, it's the cities drainage ditch!!!!
It was a great weekend!! We had alot of family time, alot of fun, and FINALLY some moisture!!

Sorting Cattle
Finally, we are on spring break and the kids are able to help their Dad!! The love to go with him and ride. This morning Maddie went with Marty, so I took them lunch so KD and Michael could go for awhile. While we were there, we manage to get my grandmother to pose for a picture in front of the UT truck. Yes, my Dad is a Longhorn, and grandma is OU all the way. She even took a ride in the truck!!!!!!!

2009 Ski Trip
Well, our ski trip was a little different this year. We took all three kids. We had a great time, and the kids are great at skiing!!!!!!!! There was a lot of snow at the cabin, and they hadn't cleared the road. It was interesting getting all our clothes, groceries, and kids to the cabin. But we managed, and by the time we left were really good at it. Oh, and on the last day, they did manage to clear the road!!!!! Here the kids are ready after a day of skiing!! The girls are able to go to the top and ski down with Marty and I, so it was a lot of fun.
Here is one of the girls waiting on us to go down the bunny slope............we had Michael with us on this run!!!!!
And one of Marty and Michael. Michael was so cute in all his gear, and tiny boots!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marty & Michael on the chair lift......all he wanted to do was ride the ride!!
This is one of the pictures going up to the cabin. We put the luggage and groceries on the sled. The girls walked, and Michael rode on my shoulders. The snow was up to our waists. Once the snowmobilers clear a path we could walk without sinking. By the end of the trip we had a good path and let the kids ride on the sled while we pulled them. Not a situation I would recommend, but we made the best of it!!!!!!!!! Since this trip Dad and Mom have purchased snowmobiles to get in and out on!!!!!!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Here is one of the girls waiting on us to go down the bunny slope............we had Michael with us on this run!!!!!
